Answer:-We have not set the upper limit for age and qualifications where as the minimum requirement for age is twelve and the only qualification is that they have the interest and passion towards the career. They need not have any electronics background.

Answer:- DAW is Digital Audio Workstation which is the platform in which you record, edit, mix and perform various operations.

Answer:- Yes. It is easy to adapt to the techniques. There are various methods to get the effect. But we strongly recommend you to take the piano learning program or any other instrument which will influence you to be a better musician and enhance your workflow. You actually do not need to be a great player. Great piano players need not be great programmers and vice-versa.

Answer:- Voice culture is an art of using your vocals in the right way for singing. Learning any form of classical music alone doesn’t guarantee to be a successful commercial singer. Art of using the right tone, Micro and Macro Dynamics, Art of breathing, Syllable training, usage of techniques and secrets behind singing and breath related issues are only dealt in voice culture.

Answer:- It primarily deals more with Keyboard programming, Rhythm programming and Sound designing (Creating entirely a new signature sound). In addition, it incorporates all the workflow of normal recording, editing, mixing and normal sound engineering.

Answer:-The course imparts knowledge to students more on practical than unwanted theory and history. This ensures them to have hands-on training which many students lack. Answer:- No. Currently in Music production and Sound Engineering course we concentrate more on musical aspects of the DAWs like Logic pro and Cubase which itself is a huge platform for music and sound. As we deal with the entire nook and corner of the software, people can easily adapt to not only Protools but also to any other DAWs at their disposal at any point of time.
It’s important to know the in and out of one software. It’s not important to be software dependent as it’s functionality and key-commands keep changing. Once you learn the core architecture of one DAW, you will understand that all the DAWs are same with different skins on them.

Answer:- The concepts and tricks of building the synth is taught in-depth. We cover Absynth,Omnisphere, Trillion, Battery, Ultrabeat and EXS24 and that will be more than sufficient to easily handle REASON or any other related synth plugins.

Answer:- Yes. All the concepts of recording, micro level editing and mixing and Mastering are dealt with. Additionally you will also be given extensive ear training and entire studio related workflows.

Answer:- No. The entire course concentrates more on studio level production only.

Answer:- Yes. The students will work in the real situations so as to get the day to day experience and solutions for various problems. Working as a student is different from working as a professional.So the program aims to give professional experience and not just the experience of emerging as an amateur at the end of the course.

Answer:- Yes. We assist the students for placement based on their caliber. As Sathya Prasad G and Janaki Iyer have worked for Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood industries, their huge contacts in media will aid the students for a placement. But we aim that our students work independently as a session artist.

Answer:-“ Mastering is an art of “Tuning your Ears for Years” for subtle frequencies. It’s the final outcome and destiny that comes after years of experience and exposure. Although mastering is considered as a very technical work it involves lot of creative and critical listening. It’s the result of all the collective hard work, time and money spent over a period of time. It also totally involves on one’s taste, a different set of equipment, acoustics and a different pair of ears. However we give the guidelines on how to produce the mix before it is mastered and also tips on in-the-box mastering techniques. This will lead you to be a Mastering Engineer after years of practice and passion towards your work. None of the Mastering Engineers learn Mastering as a course. They learn it only in the course of time with experimentation of the right techniques.

Answer:- Yes. But for a beginner who is serious enough to make his career big in the long run, it would be ideal to learn the one-year program to be fully independent and professional. However, we have tailor made part time courses for students on certain specific topics like Basic Recording and Editing, Programming, Pitch and time corrections, specific DAW or Plugins and any other specific requirements of the students.

Answer:- As the students get practical training and always work only on real-life-studio-scenario, they may not require internship. But for additional experience, they may take internship for which we will provide guidance.

Answer:- Music production course centers more in music production like Sound synthesis, Sound sculpting, building one’s own performance patch, Programming techniques, Understanding the usage of right instruments based on frequency analysis, Understanding all the articulation playing techniques and terminologies of all the live instruments, all the midi related techniques and best usage of plugins to get a phenomenal effect without effort.
Sound engineering course centers more towards audio than midi. The essential midi concepts related to audio engineering will also be dealt. The sound engineering course completely deals with education related to Constructing, Mangling and entirely building a new audio with all the audio plugins, Core Mixing, Mastering, editing audio more like a midi and much more. Students of both the courses will learn many things in common like complete DAW operations, all the editing related to audio and all the fast workflows.
